Sigrid Agren
Originally from Martinique, I left at the age of sixteen to work in the fashion industry as a model. Travel, encounters with oriental cultures and spirituality make me thirsty for other things. Despite a successful career, I decided to put an end to it. After a year of study at university, a backpacking trip of several months in Southeast Asia and an artistic exploration through theater, singing and music in New York City, I decided to returning to my native island in 2019, ten years after my departure, where I continue today as a photographer and writer.
I started Qigong in 2017, after ten years of yoga and several attempts at meditative practices. I then suffer from sleep disorders, numerous and frequent back pains, difficulty concentrating, poor blood circulation, as well as difficulty being at peace with my body. The effects of a 9-day course at the European Zhineng Qigong center blew me away: I slept much better, my circulation improved significantly, my back pain disappeared and I seemed to achieve a physical and mental harmony that I never experienced before. never had the experience.
This experience was a real inner and outer transformation and I then became passionate about this ancient practice and passionate about sharing it with others. In 2022, I joined the Holden Qigong Teacher Training program and became a certified teacher.
In July 2023, I opened Studio Mab’, a holistic space in Sainte-Luce dedicated to holistic practices and to well-being. Today it is where I teach most of my classes and workshops.
